Must-Have Item for the Holiday Season

With the holidays fast approaching, I can't help but keep an eye out for something shiny yet trendy and easy to wear to all the parties. I received an email from Club Monaco today and instantly fell in love with this sequined blazer. It is the perfect item to get you through all the office parties, family get togethers and even New Year's eve. This jacket can be used to instantly glamorize any LBD, trousers or high-wasted pencil skirt.

I've noticed lately that every one of my fashion icons is sporting a pair of totally awesome grey suede ankle boots with all sorts of outfits. Grey is a great substitute for the usual black suede that we've been seeing for many seasons. It is still a neutral which means you can pair it with almost any outfit and with all the black clothes that we're wearing this season, why not throw on a pair of grey shoes and avoid the black from head-to-toe look?

New Nail Obsession

Chanel's latest nail polish in Jade is a unique fabulous color. Why not give our nails a break this season from the dark polish we've been sporting for so long and replace it with this completely wearable shade of green that won't clash with any outfit.

3 AM Thoughts

This morning at 3 am I found myself thinking about shoes. With the arrival of the cold weather comes an excuse for shoe shopping once again (not that you ever need an excuse to go shoe shopping). I found myself wondering whether my next purchase should be some gorgeus ankle boots or over-the-knee boots. Although those are two completely different trends, they are both huge this season. Ankle boots are still holding tight to the the top spot on every fashion must-have list, while over-the-knee boots are rapidly climbing their way up. None of these trends are going away any time soon. Then I started looking around for some of my favourite looks and inspirations and I'm still confused.
